Via Russian Center of Science and Culture:

It has become a tradition to celebrate Easter in Russian Center of Science & Culture Kathmandu and Russian Embassy in Nepal from last many years.

On this year, the celebration of Orthodoxy Easter officially started on 19th April and true believers were gathered in the praying hall at RCSC Kathmandu.

Giving continuity to the tradition, a representative from Russian church visited Nepal and attended in religious ceremonies. A solemn prayer, rituals of confession, baptism ceremony and blessing of water were done together. The same rituals ceremony was also organized at the Embassy of Russia in Nepal.

It was decided to send a request letter to the Moscow central church for the registration of the Orthodox community in Nepal.
